I Promise I Did Go to Paris

With some of the worst hostel internet I have experienced since Shanghai, it was difficult to communicate during my four days in Paris.  Nevertheless, I wanted to assure people that I did go and was safe.  In general I love my time there and here are a few videos that show that sentiment.

Following my sister Erin’s advice and visiting the catacombs late at night to get a spooky feel.  This was taken around 7pm on a Saturday night, so it was very empty.

A second video from inside the catacombs where you can actually see the bones.  It is like a maze of these walkways full of bones that go on for a surprising long time.

Me on top of the Arc de Triomphe, looking out over all of Paris.  In the video you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Sacré-Cœur.

Me at the Louvre.  This was taken the second time I visited.  You can see that by going later in the day that it really dies down.  Here is a video from inside the room with the Mona Lisa.  During peak hours the ENTIRETY of this room would be full of people.
